Sentry Sprinkler Protection Limited is a water-based fire suppression contractor based in Kettering. Sprinklers, dry risers, wet risers and fire pumps. That is the whole list, and it is deliberate.
Why a specialist and not a generalist
Most firms that will quote you for sprinkler servicing also sell alarms, extinguishers, fire doors and risk assessments. There is nothing wrong with that, but it means the engineer who arrives has to be adequate at eleven things. Water-based suppression is the one that involves pressure testing, pump performance curves, hazard classification and a standard that runs to hundreds of pages.
We do not sell the other ten. When a system fails a test, the person diagnosing it does this every day, and when the paperwork goes to your insurer it is written by somebody who knows which clause it will be read against.
It also means we will tell you when something is not ours. If your fire risk assessment flags an alarm fault, we will say so rather than quote for it.
