What being inside the radius gets you
A survey at no cost, anywhere in it
We come and look at the building before quoting. There is no survey fee and no obligation, and the distance does not change that. A quote written from a drawing is a guess, and guesses get revised upwards once the engineer arrives.
A fixed price with the travel already in it
The figure we put in writing is the figure you pay. Mileage, congestion charge and parking are our problem, not a line added to the invoice afterwards.
Out of hours cover across the whole area
Testing a riser or running a pump disrupts a building that is occupied, so most of this work happens outside working hours. The emergency line answers at any hour, any day of the year.
One contractor for a portfolio
If you hold sites in more than one of these towns, they can sit on a single schedule with one set of certificates and one renewal date, rather than four local contractors and four different record formats.

Questions about coverage
Do you cover my building if it is not on the list?
Almost certainly. The list names the towns we are in most weeks, not the limit of where we go. We work across England from Kettering, so if your building is not on the map, ring and ask rather than guessing.
Is there a travel charge for the further towns?
No. The survey is free inside the ring on the map, and the price we put in writing afterwards is the price, with travel absorbed. A building in London is quoted the same way as one in Kettering. Further out, ask and we will tell you where we stand before anybody books a day.
How quickly can you get to an emergency?
The office is on the phone Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. Outside those hours the same number reaches our emergency line, which is for genuine emergencies rather than ordinary enquiries: a discharging head, a leaking main, a pump that will not start, a riser that has failed its test. How fast an engineer reaches you depends on where the building is and what has failed, so we tell you a realistic time on the call rather than a headline figure. Nothing on this site promises a response time we have not agreed with you.
How far outside the ring will you actually go?
Across England for work worth the journey, and the ring on the map is where the everyday servicing rounds are rather than a boundary. The one thing we will not do is take on a maintenance contract we cannot reach quickly when something fails, so if that is the risk we will say so on the call rather than after you have signed.
